SUKERU is a lightweight, foldable micro-architecture designed to create adaptable spaces for living, resting, and working. Inspired by the Japanese concept of permeability, it filters light and softly defines boundaries between inside and outside, offering a flexible and intimate spatial experience.

Rather than a fixed structure, SUKERU behaves as a dynamic spatial system, able to open, close, and transform according to different needs and environments. Its portability and minimal construction allow it to be easily assembled, moved, and reconfigured, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor contexts.

By combining a simple wooden framework with a translucent membrane, the project explores how architecture can become lighter, more responsive, and more human-centered, creating spaces that are not rigidly defined, but gently shaped by light, movement, and use.
